CFI Recognized for Government Contracting Efforts

Posted 12/14/2007 in General by Krista Weaver

The Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) has nominated CFI Medical Solutions for 2007 Best Small Business – Government Contractor of the Year award.

This award goes to a PTAC of Michigan client whose efforts have helped the client to win or come substantially closer to winning a government contract.

“CFI saw a tremendous opportunity to expand their business into the government sector and partnered with PTAC to develop a strategic approach to the market” explains Dustin Frigy, Director of the PTAC program.  “Our organization would like to recognize that commitment to market diversification by nominating them for this prestigious award.”

There are twelve PTAC offices for the state of Michigan; each office nominates a company of its choosing for this recognition. Winners in all categories are being announced on April 24th at an awards ceremony in Lansing. According to the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, who is a sponsor of the Best Small Business awards, Michigan has grown to sixth in the nation for small business success rates.
